- I got this tent as a “spare” play room/craft area/etc. for the porch for the warmer months. It fits perfectly on my porch and I hold it into place with heavy sandbag weights. The tent is the perfect size for what I wanted. I put a fold out sofa/bed inside the tent for comfort. I love the extra space and can use the tent for activities or sleeping outside without being bothered by bugs.I think I read the advertisement said this tent was for four to six people, but I think that would be extremely cramped. Later in the season, my husband and I plan to use the tent along with one of the vehicles for a little camping.The tent is well made. I assembled it by myself, but it would have been much easier with two people. The poles are good and the zippers work well. Everything seems to be well sewn and the material is good quality. I like that there is a door on each side with ventilation. You also have window areas for ventilation (plus the roof under the extra roof piece provides more ventilation). The movie screen is nice, but I found that the straps were a little short at the bottom and ended up pulling the tent sides inward when used. I ended up using small bungee cords to extend the length so it wouldn’t pull the tent sides in so much.One thing that may fall short for some is the stakes. For my rocky soil, they will not work and I already have upgraded stakes from another tent that I will use when I use the tent for camping in the area. The tent compacts really nicely into a carrying bag. The bag is big enough to easily return the tent and has straps to keep it all together and secure.Overall, I would recommend this tent for two people. The versatility to use it standalone or attached to a vehicle is great. The size is good and it is easy to carry and set up.
