- (First to review!! hehe)After learning last year that I am not an outdoorsy person (at least when it comes to sleeping), I was resolved to find a solution which would allow me to enjoy the benefits of both car camping and tent camping. And after several weeks of procrastination, this thing arrived in a compact little box just in time for a festival that I just came back from this past weekend.I was able to set the whole thing up by myself in about 45 minutes, but it could go quicker once you understand how it sets up. It comes with paper instructions which only show pictures… but it’s enough for you to “figure it out”.I was camping by myself so I didn’t need the extra space, but MY GOODNESS, it was perfect. You can configure it to attach to your car with two entrances, or camp standalone with three. the openings of the tent are double-zippered to let you open the entrances completely, or to just open them up to allow a nice breeze to pass through!There’s a little hook on the roof of the inside of the tent for you to hang a light.What really changed the game for me was being able to stand up inside my tent. I could go from the coziness of my car, into the safety of my tent, and I could easily change clothes, do some morning yoga, and whatever else. It can definitely fit 6 people, but works for individuals too.It didn’t rain when I used it but the bottom part is waterproof, with a “rising edge” of the waterproof that comes up about 2 inches. considering how last year I paid almost $200 for a tiny Stormbreak 2 tent with no waterproof tarp included, I’d consider this thing to be a great deal.
