- Description To compliment our Pontiac camshafts (see other auctions) we now offer our cam thrust plate kit for Pontiacs V8’s that use an electric fuel pump. You can’t just remove the fuel pump eccentric as it is also a spacers and “”pulls out”” the cam timing chain sprocket. This kit includes a spacer washer that is laser cut at the exact thickness of thefuel pump eccentric. See my other auction for stock (or mechanical) fuel pump usage. For use in all Pontiac V8 engines 287 301 326 370 389 400 421 428 455 and stroker engines Kit includes: New Camshaft thrust plate – best one on the market – hardened, precision made New Cam bolt and special washer New grade 8 bolts and lock washers Special fuel pump eliminator washer These are the parts I use in my high end Pontiac engine builds can be used for flat tappet and roller cams!
