Description Spotts Performance exclusive! Read this entirely! the stainless steel lower inner tube in this kit is for windage tray applications. Not all Pontiacs had windage trays. if you do not have your engine apart and do not know if you have a windage tray – please do not order this kit until you know for sure. the inner tube included is for factory 1969-1973 Pontiac V8’s – but will work on earlier models (65-68) if tube is slightly bent. Will also work if you add a factory style windage trays (provided your main caps allow it) The Pontiac V8 external dip stick tube (in stainless steel – see my other listings for other options) and the new and improved tool to properly install tube are also included. The external tube is installed first before the engine is rebuilt and the main caps are off for best results the other end of tool is tapered to make sure inner tube will install easier coming soon – you tube video of dip stick tube installation Tool is also for sale on another listing
