I learned watching a YouTube video that Craftsman suggests changing your oil after only FIVE service miles. They say that the oil that they put into the mower is considered ‘break in’ oil and it should be changed very soon after you start using it. I was at almost 50 miles! Yikes!This is a great kit, and it’s priced very well. The fuel stabilizer is also really good stuff. I now keep a bottle on hand for all my fill ups. If this is your first oil change, consider watching some videos. You will also want to get a short piece of hose to drain the oil (it came with your mower) as well as a small vice-grip tool to remove the factory installed filter (it’s TIGHT). That tool is also very handy for opening pickle jars. ��
