- For those of us who have a hard time getting our fingers into the space to thread the TV connector, this is the tool.The “F” connector used everywhere on TV’s has a 7/16″ hex nut to tighten the cable. Personally, I think it’s a terrible design, but no one asked me. A BNC is so much more user friendly. But I digress.This tool slips over the cable and turns the nut. However, it only works if the cable in question does NOT have a large molded strain relief, otherwise it won’t fit on. The cable must be smaller that the nut.I don’t know why it was 12″ but it was less expensive than the short ones so I bought this.
