- If you’re looking for something loud.. like ‘lookout for cyclists’ loud… and easy to set up. You’re definitely looking at the right spot for a good deal and bike horn. Mine had arrived today. And, upon setting up. It does need two triple A-batteries (AAA) or if you have rechargeable ones, that’s a plus for this product as it does not come with any. I took it for a test earlier today. And, the sound quality of it is very nice. I give it a 5/5. I wish I could’ve looked into getting a bike horn months ago. This will really help, especially during traffic hours. The size of this is like a Nokia phone. The item feel like a tv remote. It’s small and very convenient and doesn’t get in the way of anything. The sound radius is like … 2 houses down. So, that’s like …. 20-40 meters away ? So, that’s pretty loud. If anyone can’t hear you within those meters then they are not paying any attention to the road. But, I honestly wasnt expecting it to be this loud. But, I’m actually glad that it is!! I know this will save my life one day because there were times when I needed a horn. Now, I know there ARE higher quality products out there. But, this one definitely is a good item on my list. I don’t know how long it will last. But, just looking at the product at hand. It seems like it’ll last months, up to a year or so. And, that’s more than enough time for me to upgrade to a new one if I ever so decide to want another one. But, Depending on how or what weather stress you’re putting it through, this item should last you awhile until you decide to want to upgrade to a better horn. Other than that, I’m enjoying every bit of this one here.. because I’m having so much fun letting people know I have a horn on my bike now so they know to watch out for me hahaha
